What is After School Enrichment?
After school enrichment means learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends. At Pinnacle Explorations we offer learning opportunities after class that expand students’ knowledge in a unique and fun way with room to play, create, move, discover, and explore.
With our 90 minute after school programs, we offer a variety of engaging outdoor activities with curricula that follow the core values of our Pinnacle mission.
Fall 2026
This Fall 2026, we are offering “Art in Nature” as an after school program at Thurgood Marshall Elementary and The Perkins School.
“Art in Nature” combines a love of nature with creativity and imagination, playing with colors, shapes and textures to investigate the natural world. Explorers will learn to observe the world as an artist, drawing from the simplicity of nature. By making art supplies out of natural materials, your young artist will foster a mindful relationship with their surroundings and learn to use what they have to inspire others with sustainable creativity. Through painting, paper-making, and other collaborative projects, “Art in Nature” will develop Explorers’ confidence as emerging artists in a supportive and welcoming environment. Open to all skill levels.
Students will be picked up at dismissal before heading out to the playground and making art outdoors (or classroom depending on weather).

Small Worlds
Small Worlds is a playful exploration of small ecosystems and miniature worlds. From looking at the tiny ecosystems where bees, bugs, and even bacteria live, explorers gain a new understanding of the inner-workings of the small worlds all around us while playing in the dirt, making fun crafts, and playing exciting games.
Myths & Monsters
Myths & Monsters is the perfect place to foster our young explorers’ imagination and creativity as they learn about myths from all around the world. Whether campers are creating their own mythical worlds, making magical crafts or learning about natural phenomena that inspire some of the worlds greatest mythical stories, our explorers have a blast in Myths & Monsters!
